This policy explains what the Transcript for Spotify & YouTube browser extension (“the extension”) and its online service (“the service”) collect, why, and what you can do about it. The extension is made by Antradus AI (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@antradusai.com.
What the extension does
When you click Get transcript, the extension reads the transcript and episode details (title, show or channel, description) from the Spotify or YouTube page, inside your own browser. If you guess the speakers of a Spotify episode, it sends the text needed to identify them to our service. Speaker guessing is not offered for YouTube videos, so a YouTube transcript is never sent. It then shows the result so you can copy or export it. It does not read other websites, and it does nothing on Spotify or YouTube until you ask.

We do not store full transcripts on our servers, download audio, track your browsing, show you ads, or sell personal information.
Retention is enforced automatically: a scheduled job runs daily and erases the data above once its period has passed.
Stored only on your device
The extension keeps these in your browser’s local storage, and removes them when you uninstall it:
- your sign-in session;
- the last transcript you opened;
- your settings;
- a 7-day cache of episode show notes.

When you buy a plan you also agree to Freemius’s terms and privacy policy.
Chrome Web Store User Data Policy
The use of information received through Google sign-in and the Chrome extension APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the extension’s single purpose, and is never used for advertising or sold.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your data. Email support@antradusai.com from the address you signed in with, and we will delete your account, your trial record and your usage records within 30 days. Freemius keeps invoices as tax law requires.
- Access or correct your data. Email us.
- Stop using the service. Sign out and uninstall the extension. Cancel a subscription from your Freemius account.
- EU/UK residents. We process your data to perform our contract with you (your account, your plan and the transcripts you ask for), and for our legitimate interests in keeping the service working and fairly used — that is, preventing repeated claiming of the free trial, rate-limiting abuse, investigating misuse of the service, and enforcing our Terms. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you may complain to your data protection authority.
- California residents. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Children
The extension is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. We will notify signed-in users in the extension of material changes.
