These terms govern your use of the Transcript for Spotify & YouTube browser extension and its online service (together, “the Service”). The Service is provided by Antradus AI (“we”). By signing in you accept these terms.
1. The Service
The Service reads transcripts that YouTube or Spotify already display for a video or episode you open, lets you name the speakers where the transcript separates the voices, and lets you export the result. It does not transcribe audio, and it does not use artificial intelligence. It works only where YouTube shows captions or Spotify shows a Transcript tab.
The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google or Spotify. Those platforms may change or restrict their websites at any time, which can temporarily stop parts of the Service from working. We will work to restore it but cannot guarantee availability.
2. Your account
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under it. One person, one account: accounts may not be shared, resold or created in bulk.
3. Free, with fair use
- The Service is free. There are no plans, payments or subscriptions.
- Each account may get a limited number of transcripts per day (currently 100, reset at midnight UTC), so that the Service cannot be used for bulk extraction. We may change this limit.
- If we ever add paid features, they will be optional, and we will announce them in advance. Nothing you already have for free will be taken away without notice.
4. The newsletter
After you sign in we ask whether you would like the Antradus AI newsletter. It is optional: your answer does not change what the Service gives you. You can unsubscribe at any time from any issue or from the extension’s menu. How we handle your email address is described in the privacy policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree:
- to use the Service for your own personal or internal business purposes;
- to respect copyright. Transcripts reflect content owned by creators and platforms, so use them only as the law and the content’s terms allow (for example, quotation, research, accessibility, or with the owner’s permission);
- not to automate the Service, scrape at scale, or try to get around the daily limit or security;
- not to reverse-engineer, resell or white-label the Service;
- to comply with YouTube’s and Spotify’s own terms when you use their websites.
6. Speaker names
Speaker names come from the recording itself or from what you type. You are responsible for checking them, and for how you use exported transcripts.
7. Intellectual property
We own the Service and its software. You keep whatever rights you have in content you export; we claim no ownership of your transcripts.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, and we may discontinue the Service.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to USD 50. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date above. Material changes will be notified in the extension at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
